A practical troubleshooting guide for
slow drilling, weak impact, overheating, excessive vibration and other common rotary hammer problems.
When a rotary hammer suddenly becomes slow, overheats, produces weak impacts or struggles to drill concrete, many users immediately assume that the motor or gearbox has failed.
In practice, the problem may be much simpler.
The drill bit, accessory, working method, dust removal, lubrication, tool holder and operating conditions can all affect drilling performance.
